photo credits from www.diversitystore.comWe hear the cry of “racist” coming forth from the Democrat side on any and every comment and action they disagree with. It doesn’t matter if someone picked an outfit that looked neat. It must be racist. It doesn’t matter if it is a critique of a position. It must be racist. Any action or statement opposing somehow must be racist.

This is not coming from the “white or conservative” side but those who say they support the minorities. Perhaps they have forgotten the words of a leader who can be respected. Martin Luther King Jr. Here read the whole speech and watch it as it was recorded.

In particular, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

Now that Obama, who is of half African descent, is in position to challenge to be President, things are being defined by the color of his skin? That is truly racist. The content of his character has been weighed and found lacking. His plans and proposals are far from what the American Dream is. It isn’t about the government taking from those who work hard and redistributing it. That is communism, socialism, and lessons from Karl Marx and the Humanist Manifesto. That is not why people desire to come to the USA. They come for the promise of freedom. They come for the opportunity to succeed if you put in the work for it. Not for working hard and having it stolen and given to those who won’t get off their rears and work.

Some may say I’m racist now. I am from the Philippines. We were controlled for 300 years by the Spanish. We were invaded by the Japanese. Both countries and peoples did many horrific things to the Filipinos. But those who did those actions are long dead and gone. That is part of our history and part of what makes up our culture. We are all human beings. Get over the past, grow up and move on.

You don’t whine and moan about things hundreds of years old as is pushed in Black Liberation Theology. You get off your rear and work like it says in the Bible and the notes of the Founding Fathers. Failure is your own fault. Such is the way in the Philippines. Such is the way it was in the USA until the Democrat party kept on promising, spending and stealing the money from the citizens in a promise to redistribute the income. That has failed miserably and the country is $53 trillion in debt with more promises of taxing the rich and give to the poor.

What incentive is that to work hard? What incentive is that to strive to succeed? That isn’t what this country was founded on. This was supposed to be the land of the free and the brave. The USA is not meant to use a philosophy the rest of the world is running from as it is an abject failure as proven throughout history. You get what you give. If the government wants to support irresponsibility and laziness, they will get citizens that are the same. That is not a land or a country to aspire to be like. That makes the USA a country to flee from.

If the American citizens want to continue on this path, there is but one thing left to say. Welcome to the third world.

What is my political affiliation? I support neither Obama nor McCain. I do not support the Democrat side or the Republican side. And when I qualify to vote in the future, I will support the document that starts with the following and the desires of those who wrote it.

“We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

Secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity. Posterity means our children and grandchildren. They are the ones who will pay for the greed of those alive today looking for more handouts. To burden our children and grandchildren with debts so that we can be lazy is nothing more than sheer cowardice and disgraceful.

All this election has shown is the extent people will go in their lust for power and control. What bait do they use? They push pride, envy, gluttony (o tinatawag na over-indulgence), lust, anger, greed and sloth (laziness or pagiging tamad!). There is a reason why those are known as the deadly sins. They can kill a person and a nation every time.
