One thing that we do forget is that many people, myself included, grow up speaking a language other than English, even though we are born here. I accept that English is the common tongue, and it should be learned, but that should not take away from the fact that others have the right to speak their own language in their own settings. (My gripe to vent).

As for American values, that has always eluded me. I keep hearing this term bandied about, but I have never seen any other values that override what is expressed in such documents as the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence, so I take those as American Values. When someone begins to hype American Values, they do not seem to be in agreement with those documents though, so I do not listen to them.

I do agree with you more, if you choose to live in a totally different country. that person should adapt the environment. but don't turn out to be someone you think you're great... obey the laws and rules. just like you allen, i would not tolerate mistakes and stupid behavior. patalon jud nko ay.. hehehe...
