Okay, control your thoughts. This entry is about choices in furniture. Okay? Good, now let me continue.

I have written several times in the past of how coming into my hubby’s life required a number of changes. The cardboard posters came off the wall and were replaced with framed paintings and other things of higher grade than paper. A number of his really old pieces of furniture have broken and needed to be replaced.

I always wondered why he never sat in the old rocking chair before and only I did. He told me later that it belonged to his grandpa who had incontinent problems. Perhaps there are things best left not said about minor details like that. Anyways, we had to upgrade that chair, the center ‘coffee’ table, and the couch. The reasons were simple for the need to replace them. The chair and the couch broke. The table he had really wasn’t much of a table and it was also broken.

Since we are also tightwads, we looked for the lowest cost options in replacing the furniture while having it comfortable and big enough for his 6’2” frame. That led us to selecting Ashley Furniture for two main reasons. It is very comfortable and it is also discount furniture.

So from my butt which sat on it and the naps it has helped me to take. I can say that it truly is comfortable furniture. Now you need to use your eyes to look at the furniture to see which the right one for you is. That is the couch and the chair or other furniture items.

As my relationship hint of the day, you can’t change the man but you can change the furniture provided he isn’t a couch potato.
