What's Da Buzz?

All proud Pinoy are watching as our singers get center stage in the public eye. Yes, there are still those who will talk badly anything that is new or different but that is their problem.

The best thing to do is ignore those small minded people who have not realized that it is a big world with 6 billion people who could care less what the ignorant ones say.

So let us all enjoy the words of Arnel and Charice as they represent the Philippines well. May their humility remain as their fame and fortune grow.

“If the shoe fits, wear it.”

Would you believe it but some people are probably already planning out what they are going to wear for Halloween? Granted the candy collection may be a bit more limited as the price of gas goes up but some will go full bore in the USA version of Halloween.

From our cultural perspective, wearing Halloween Costumes on Halloween is not something that we do. However, there are a number of other options for just an individual and for couples costumes that can make for fun. If you are comfortable with yourself, it could be a fun blast to dress up as your child’s favorite cartoon characters while walking your brown with black spotted dog down the street. Try not to dress too warm as picking those bugs out might make your clothing look shaggy.

In this entry, I wish to give you a very strong example of the kind of guy not to pursue.

All cultures have their version of self-centered guys who are only after one thing and we all know what that is. Since marriage is pretty much a permanent choice in the Philippines, we have to avoid the playboys who only focus on themselves.

The same is true if you are looking for a guy in the USA or some other country. Yes, divorce is technically possible but may not be a realistic option with immigration and financial binds. So study this video closely and memorize the kind of guy you do not want to land.
