Yes, I normally avoid commenting about politics. I still will not make much comment on politics in the USA with any kinds of specifics. But reading at ABS-CBN got my blood boiling a bit. I guess I’m on a shorter fuse or wala akong pasensya with whiners and wimps because of all of the really great examples of loving and strong non-complainers are passing away in my life. So please be warned I’m going to be blunt.
Here in the USA, I very quickly noticed a difference from life on Mindanao. I felt safe from terrorist bombs. The likelihood of that happening is incredibly remote here. I also noticed a negative side. The USA could be a great nation again but has turned its back on the USA Constitution that made it great. Hopefully, the people will rise up and get their country back on track.
There is one other thing the USA has long since learned. You do not negotiate or give in to the demands of terrorists or bullies. Yes, they have taken it too far and are disliked as the international policeman sticking their noses into the affairs of all uninvited but they know you do not back down or give in. Giving in to bullies only encourages them as you are an easy victim. I long ago learned as a youth that you do not surrender to bullies. You stand up to them and kick them where it counts and hard. Is that being diplomatic? Nope. Does it work? Oh yeah it does.
That brings me to the Philippine Arroyo government, the Memorandum of Agreement on Ancestral Domain (MOA-AD), and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF). (Side note: MILF is an acronym for something totally different here in the USA and it isn’t a nice or decent thing either. Gusto mo malaman anong MILF tawag dito? PM me.)
I grew up with the bombs of the Abu Sayyaf and the dealings of the murdering ways of the MILF. It doesn’t matter what their justification is. They are murderers and torturer of innocent civilians. The Arroyo administration tried to cave in to the blackmailing demands of the MILF like cowards cringing to a bully.
In my view, that should be enough to impeach Arroyo and anyone else supporting giving in to blackmail of the Philippines. Those supporting giving away increasing portions of Mindanao Island should be tried for treason. You do not give in to the MILF bullies and the Islamic terrorism. Killing civilians because of frustration with Arroyo administration eh walang excuse! Mali pa rin ang pumatay ng tao na walang kalaban laban!
Here would be my simple plan of action since I lived through the bombs and the death of people shredded around me. The Islamic extremists should be given three options. Live peacefully with everyone else and respect their choices of religion, leave and never return, or call it a war.
I know I have had enough of family, friends and fellow Filipinos getting hacked apart, shredded and shot just because the MILF are nothing more than armed bullies with temper tantrums. This is where close ties to the USA would be more beneficial. Instead of the USA being the world police, they would be much more welcome as a portable Navy and Air Force to come invited to beat the crap out of these cowardly bullies and blow them up!!
It is past time the Philippine government quit playing around like cowards. The message to these murders and terrorists should be simple. Leave our country or die. Do not surrender to the bullies. Kick them in the gonads o kick them in the genitals ng matauhan ang mga lintek and use a big stick such as the help of the US military. Enough is enough. The Philippines lived through the invasion of the Spanish and the Japanese. There is no reason to repeat the mistakes of the past because of Islamic extremists.

I’ve actually googled MILF and let’s just say that I’m glad my mom wasn’t at my back or I’d seriously be in trouble…
Anyway yeah, PGMA shouldn’t crumble to such demands. These MILF’s are murderers, terrorists, and criminals who attack innocent people to get what they want. What kind of message is PGMA trying to send out? I could just kill people on the streets to get what I want and be safe from being prosecuted under the law?
What if the MILF want the whole Philippines, will the government cave in? If the the Philippines lack man power then they should ask for the help of the United Nations or something.
There should be no deals done with the MILF, history will only repeat itself, they will continue to kill innocent people and destroy people’s lives.
If I were a sane President, I would call an all out war on these mass murderers and finish off each and every one of them. Or… i would launch an information drive to make everyone aware of what they are doing so I could gain support from my people and the rest of the world.
