Life Here & There
1 Comment Law Enforcement Differences
[ad]
This is a topic that has grown as I watch and read the news coming from various parts of the USA. On one hand, I truly appreciate the efforts of the police in trying to keep the peace and order. But the lawyers and the judicial system are just insane and making me look fondly at life in General Santos, Philippines.
So what am I talking about on all this? Well, I found out recently that in Gensan and most of the island of Mindanao are following the pattern of the known person of Davao City. (I will not go into detail.) There is not enough money or patience to deal with habitual criminals. Those that engage in murder, rape, theft, drugs or the many things that force others to live in fear are receiving a form of justice that seriously reins in the crime.
What do they do? Well, they have decided to ignore the pleas of u-know-who and take matters of justice in their (hometown ko) cities into their own hands. If a person has been found guilty of several accounts of theft or anything more than that, their names are put on a list of ‘bad people.’ Then after their patterns are mapped out, those offenders are tracked down in locations where they can’t escape. All who are innocent are told to leave as punishment for their crimes are handed down. Quite simply, they are shot sa ulo and killed. The crime rates are plummeting kasi nga takot mga walang hiya don and the people who follow the law are feeling safe again. (at least)
But if the Philippines is supposedly a ‘third world’ country, why is the USA taking insane measures to do the opposite? Here you can read it over and over again where those who follow the law are being targeted for punishment while those who break it receive the best treatment.
In this article, a lady who ran over and killed a police officer while she was speeding was only given a $310 fine. Normally, that is called vehicular homicide and she’d be doing jail time. But for some reason a cop gets killed by someone breaking the law and all she gets is a minor fine?
Also in the same article a 12 year old boy defended his mother from being choked to death by a neighbor. The only option presented was he had to stab the guy to save his mother’s life. What was his reward for saving his Mom’s life? The boy may be facing homicide charges for killing the guy that broke into their home and was trying to kill his mother!!
We also have read here where a father was thrown in jail for 6 months because his 18 year old daughter failed a math test!!
I could go on but little tops how some doctors here think it is a good idea to force 7-10 year olds to take drugs to delay puberty so the child can decide what gender they want to be. Barbaric!
Which country is backwards?
