As is the normal thing here, you get phone calls from your Internet and or Cable TV service provider in an attempt to sell you on a new package deal or some other thing to hook you in. Well, our Internet service provider called a week after we canceled Cable TV trying to sell us on a new program to get Cable TV right back. We canceled it because we find little use for it. There is a life to live being active as opposed to planting your rear staring at a box of electronics. This is how the call went.
ISP Provider: Hello, may I speak with Mr. or Mrs. What’s da buzz?
Hubby: I’m Mr. What’s Da Buzz.
ISP Provider: I am calling today regarding a special where you can get faster High Speed Internet and Basic Cable TV at a lower cost than what you are paying right now.
Hubby: We are not interested in Cable TV.
ISP Provider: Do you have satellite TV?
Hubby: No.
ISP Provider: So if I understand you correctly, you do not have cable or satellite TV?
Hubby: Correct
ISP Provider: (tone of voice – disbelief) If I may ask, why don’t you have cable or satellite TV?
Hubby: Because it is a waste of time.
ISP Provider: (tone of voice – utter confusion) Well…uh…I guess this call is done. *click*
There is so much more to life than the TV programming choices in the USA. You can go biking, play board games with your children, go to a park, cook together, generate an income on the side, spend quality time with the family, grill food, read books of your choosing, and most importantly control the messages going into the minds of your children and yourself.
Now they are really going to love us when we shift ISP providers to save $11 a month.
Just think what you can do with that extra space in the living room and / or bedrooms.

Hi Ate Anah! Kumusta? it’s been a while since I last visited here.
I’m sorry about your bedroom wall. It’s a good thing no one was hurt.
Anyway, I agree. Life is beautiful! ^_^
