Did You Know No Comments Does metal float?
As part of a science experiment, my daughter was challenged to try and float a number of metal items in a batch of water. To my surprise, she did it!! The paper clips were floating around on the water’s surface.
Of course, Goryo couldn’t stop there and he showed off another fun thing. How many water drops can fit on a quarter? 6, 7 or 10? Those were the guesses of us around the table. The answers came as my daughter used an eyedropper and we counted. 1,2,3,…10,11,12,…22!! Whoa were we off. Wow!
Lastly, we couldn’t stop until we made a glass float. It may be a tad wet and a little messy but experiments like these are oh so fun.
