What's Da Buzz?

My daughter is becoming more like Mommy and Daddy every day. On some days, she is cracking one side-comment after another that challenges my ability to remain composed with a straight face. To that end, I have decided to chronicle her sayings as Yurisms.

So here they are:

My eye was irritating me so I opted to get the eye drops and have Goryo put them in my eye for me. When I made the statement out loud that my eye was irritating me, my daughter jumped up and said “Wait, wait, wait Mommy. I know what you need! When your eye is like this.” She then stretched her eyelids open on her left eye. “You need Lasik 2 or Lasik Plus!!” I think cable TV may be disconnected soon ma expire ang offer gikan sa cable company. :p

The second one came while I was folding the laundry. I was rather pinned down so I asked my daughter to get me a few items that I needed such as a tissue for my nose, water and other minor things. Out of the blue, she quips “Ohhhkaaay, I guess I have to do aaaalll the chores and be a slave.”

Unfortunately, I have myself to blame for that phrase. I jokingly used it when Goryo and I tackle the dishes. Beware of what you say, as your little one will throw it back at you. So I’m guilty on that hehe!
