That Décor You Walk All Over

Some of us live in an apartment while others live in a house. All of us have the same challenges that we each meet with our different methods. We each have our own flavors of how to assemble the décor in our living areas.

The walls we each have our chosen paintings or other things mounted to the wall. I know I had to upgrade my hubby’s posters on cardboard backing nailed to a wall and the rather stark mismatch of furniture in the rooms. I’ve even had to upgrade his wardrobe as he was stuck to black or white so he would only do 3 loads of laundry. (Towels were the third.)

But there is a different area which is often ignored for décor and that is the area we walk all over. That would be the floors. No matter if you live in an apartment with the standard light tan neutral carpet or have a home with hardwood floors, we can spice up the floors and the look of the room in general with a few well placed and blended in Rugs.

On our light tan carpet we currently have, it did not take much effort but a fair amount of shopping around to find an area rug that helped to highlight the things we have in the living room and make it seem alive. Area Rugs can come in a variety of shapes and sizes and countless patterns that can either make your room pop alive or look worse as a disjointed batch of clutter. Obviously, it all depends on the décor on your walls and the furniture as to which fits the theme of the room you are targeting.

To make it even sweeter, you can find Cheap Rugs that can effectively give your specific room a makeover for far less than you may expect. A couple hundred or less and there is your new room.
