Surprise, Surprise

Or in a way to make fun of my own accent, supplies!! Just yell that last word out with a heavy Filipino accent for the full joke.

In any case, most of us have a spouse or at least someone dear to us in our lives. From time to time, we want to celebrate the day they came into our lives by recognizing our anniversary of the first date, the day of the wedding, or their birthday.

If it is for your child, it is a lot easier to arrange a surprise birthday party. If you are trying to arrange a surprise birthday party for your highly analytical, observant hubby, good luck as there are many challenges to that.

The first part is to make certain you can quietly secure a location and then you need to send out the birthday invitations. Those invites can clue in the others involved as to what to bring, where to go and more. But that doesn’t answer the key thrust of the joke above.

In order to have a proper surprise party your need your surprise supplies. Sending them to your home address risks your hubby or daughter or son finding out. But doing it online allows you to be sneaky enough to pull it off. Now the only trick left is keeping a straight enough face so your hubby won’t notice.

That last part I’ll never master.
