No Comments Do Shoes Grow on Trees?
I am a woman. It seems that by default I must have more shoes than my husband. He only has 2 pairs and one he can’t wear anymore.
I am also a Filipina. Because of Imelda Marcos, Filipinas are unfortunately forever stuck with the label of having a shoe craze.
Of all the things we Filipina could use is a good website where you can get shoes on sale. Not only that but it also has a shoe buying guide. What can get better than that? Well, they can’t digitize the shoe for trying it on in a virtual world to test the comfort but we can’t have everything now can we?
What does my hubby wear? He wears a size 13 EEEE with removable inlays and shock absorbing heels so he can fit his brace in it. Needless to say, he is picky on the kind of shoe and if an online store doesn’t carry the exact kind, he doesn’t bother.
Now for me I’m a standard size 7 ladies shoe. Why do I mention this? Outside of 1 or two pairs I have not had to purchase any of my collection of shoes. Hint, hint. Friends, relatives, and my Mom have all met those needs. But I’m certain I could make do with a few others. I’m not really a high heel type and I tend toward wearing black shoes.
My hubby took a look at this site and he made a particular recommendation. His greatest interest for me is a shoe tree so I can have one place to put my shoes so he won’t trip on them or have to put them away. I hope he doesn’t hide them on me some day. It might take a week or two but I’d have to start asking where they all went.
Happy shopping!
