Just like most Filipinos here in the USA, I am always looking for the best method to generate revenue with a business mind. What I am about to share is a potential business option for the right motivated individual or a wonderful way of tending to an expensive vice of mine.
Like many, I like to have my sunglasses to help me when I’m driving or just to protect my eyes from the sun. Unfortunately, I have a problem with my sunglasses. I have this tendency to forget where I put them. Sometimes I discover I hooked them to my back pants pocket right after I sit down and hear the crunch. Other times the crunch is heard when I sit down on the place I had put them a few minutes or hours ago.
I’ve also done a very good job at sharing my sunglasses with people wherever I go. That is usually done when I get preoccupied with whatever volunteer thing I’m doing and I promptly forget I had taken my sunglasses there until after we were long gone.
Now because of this I will only be buying wholesale sunglasses to save on the amount of money we lose when one of my sunglasses departs either in one piece or many pieces. But if this is a business I can profit on, then we can get those celebrity sunglasses which are actually legal replica sunglasses and I can solve two problems in one shot. I can both display the product we are using and increase our customer base.
That leaves but only one question though. When I forget a pair somewhere (without breaking them) does that count as a business expense write off on taxes? Would they be considered a marketing expense or a demo product?
