What's Da Buzz?

There are times that I watch this country and the actions taking place in it with utter amazement and disbelief. How can such a nation, revered to be a “great nation” in terms of freedom and opportunity, be going down the gutter so incredibly fast?

My hubby has a very blunt statement about the public schools and he used to teach in them. He feels they should be abolished due to being a failed project. Private, parochial and homeschooling options produce a better result.

When you find a political party specific speech emphasizing a sitting public figure that hasn’t done anything of significance but give speeches someone else wrote for him, you have a serious problem on the textbook side. Even if the 15 pages on Obama were taken out in later prints, there is no justification for any political party speech to be in an English book. That is promoting a blatant political bias when there are numerous other great speeches from significant figures of USA heritage that can be highlighted.

Speaking of Obama, his associate William Ayers has a strange view of what education should be. When he isn’t expressing regret for not doing more bombing of the USA and standing on the USA flag, he is promoting the homosexual lifestyle to elementary students regardless of what the parents wish.

There is a key detail regarding most of the public schools in America. The parent has to choose to take their child out of a field trip or topic more than permitting them to be in something. The schools also count on most parents not paying attention to what the schools are promoting so they can do crazy things like the next part.

In a school in San Francisco, California, eighteen first graders were taken on a field trip to their teacher’s wedding. Before I go into the rest of the detail there is a key point to be made. Since when or how does a wedding count as an academically justifiable field trip for 6-7 year old kids? What distorted thinking is that?

Further, these eighteen 7 year olds were taken “so the youngsters could scatter rose petals in celebration of their LESBIAN teacher’s wedding.” Whether or not kids are exposed to any wedding is the decision of the parents when they go to a friend or family member’s wedding. There is no way you take children to the wedding of their first grade teacher whom they have known for only a few weeks during a school day. Even more outrageous, these kids were given pins to wear saying No to a California proposition to ban same-sex marriage while being highly visible at a wedding recorded on camera by media crews and officiated by the Mayor.

That is disgusting abuse of children who are starting to learn how to read and write numbers.

In my Tuesday’s entry, I wrote: As noted from a doctor giving a neutral report, “

It is clear that there are serious medical consequences to same-sex behavior. … Approving same-sex relationships is detrimental to employers, employees and society in general.” Why is that important?

When the PUBLIC (in this case through a charter school) School System and the Government promote a lifestyle choice that is known to have “serious medical consequences” up to and including death, the school system and the Government are blatantly guilty of child abuse on the mental, emotional and physical level. Let me be very blunt, public encouragement of a deadly lifestyle should be called what it is – negligent homicide or murder. But what would they care? These are the poor kids that weren’t murdered in the womb.

Why does this topic make it into the category of Family Matters? Because I strongly believe that a solid FAMILY truly matters and that is the one founded on the wisdom located in the Bible.
