No Comments Project Time!!
On your marks, get set, stop. There is no project being assigned to you from me. That title was just to bring your eyes to these words. Hehehe!
Having worked for a bit in recruiting for the heavy construction field my hubby and I got to know how the system works for the various projects. Obviously, I wouldn’t be able to step into a construction job and do the management work but at least I knew how to find someone who was qualified to do it.
One of the features of being a Project Manager is keeping tabs on all of the resources available and used accurately. Those resources are the materials used in the construction, the equipment used and the people or manpower put into it. As always, the most expensive part to any business is the wages of the people doing the work. For that reason, the time has to be tracked carefully so that the project can remain on time and on budget.
A Project Manager can choose to do it by paper which only increases the amount of time him and his assistants have to spend on paperwork. The other option is to use Time Tracking Software and all of the other optional software to streamline the process as much as possible. At least a bit of the time billed against the project can be lessened. I know of one person who may be reading this related to the construction field. But for everyone else, spread the happy word if those construction guys don’t already know it.
