If you have read my blog, you’ll know I have a daughter and a husband. My hubby can be just as big of a kid as my daughter when it comes to games. So it comes to little surprise to me on how they rather dominate the new PSP 3000 we recently got.

My hubby only jokingly gripes that we got the kid version game pack and not the football game pack. That didn’t stop him from playing the game with my daughter helping out her Daddy getting more points to buy more weapons to use in the game. It actually is rather funny and sweet at the same time.

My hubby has a knack for analyzing games and memorizing the patterns the programmers use so he can easily adapt to any game and defeat it. That is why he isn’t a fan of games that do not have a significant factor of randomness in them like there is in a football or wrestling game.

In any case, the PSP has amazing clarity with its fair sized screen. The game selection seems to be fair but I like the other features of it and not the games side. That’s my hubby’s thing provided he’s not paying more attention to the PSP than me.

As is his nature, he allowed my daughter and me first pick of new games. It will be his turn next for his football and wrestling.

If you are wondering why the PSP and not one of the other systems that attaches to the TV, there is a very good reason for it. Our TV can’t handle them. Since we don’t have cable TV and the antenna will no longer be working soon, we really don’t use the TV. So the PSP works for me.

It is also fun listening to my hubby giggle while playing the game as he talks about turning the enemies into cows that walk around and explode in miniature nuclear explosions leaving behind a milk splatter. If you have played the game that commonly comes with it, you’ll know what I mean.

Thanks,

Anah
