Okay, I will be writing this post in two different ways. It will be the technically innocent and then the realistic method.
From the innocent side, no one I know would ever rip songs off of a music CD or burn a copy of a DVD they like. Nope, no one in my life would ever do something like that. It is time to go back to reality now.
Most of those unknown people who know how to use a computer and CDs do rip, extract, record, burn and many of those other verbs that are unique to current technology. The challenge comes in to what kind of software will you use to pull it off?
You need a solid DVD ripper to maximize the quality of the result. Yes, there are a number of options out there but how much flexibility do they have? Does the software support audio, video, and data CD / DVDs including VCD, SVCD and DVD? What about all of the video features along with a video converter to make certain all formats are covered? We know the letters. MPEGs, AVIs, WMVs, ASF, iPod, PSP, and more have to be supported.
Does the software also support all of the audio features and highlight an audio converter that can do the important MP3s and all of the other formats? By now, you know where I am going with this. I am a tech geek who likes her tools. A powerful all-in-one multimedia application that gives me all of the dynamic requirements I have needs to work right. I like to Blaze through my Media like a Pro.
