Am I warming up my voice? Are you ready to hear me sing another song? It is late and I’ll need to make it a lullaby. Let us hope I sing songs in my dreams instead of throwing punches in my sleep. But my singing the LA’s is not for musical purposes. It is the abbreviation for Louisiana. So any of my readers in Louisiana, this is for you. Everyone else, you’ll know where I stand on the issues.
This will be one of my very rare posts regarding politics and getting the name of a candidate out there. After this, my political stances should be clear. I like a candidate like John Fleming for Congress. Will I vote for John Fleming? No, I live in Wisconsin and he’s in Louisiana. Otherwise, I would.
John Fleming states that he holds true to a number of the core values I have. Being a legal immigrant here, I do find those in politics who try to reward illegal immigrants to be offensive on the topic. He actually holds a silly stance such as enforcing the existing laws. What a concept. He layers on a fiscal practice of cut what you spend to fit what your budget says while being a good steward of our money and letting us keep it. Better still he’s for conservative values and getting rid of the 67,000 page tax code and the IRS. That is a long time in coming from what I understand.
In the Philippines, our political leaders are often those who are popular for a number of reasons including having been in the entertainment industry. Here in the USA, most of those in Congress used to be or are lawyers. That makes the greatest positive of all for Dr John Fleming. He’s not a lawyer.
