Home-Made Leftover Chicken Soup

[ad]

There are many variations on Chicken soup but this one is created from the contents of our fridge with some herbs to season it up.

Ingredients:

* 12 cups of water (or the amount you feel like sticking in the pot)
* 3 fresh carrots
* 3 frozen chicken tenderloins
* ¼ of a baked chicken shredded
* 1 green bell pepper
* 3 ½ ears of grilled corn on the cob
* 2 chicken bouillon cubes (low sodium)
* 1 tsp of Poultry Seasoning
* 2 tsp of Parsley
* 2 tsp of Sweet Basil
* 2 packages of Ramen Noodles (throw out the seasoning packets)

Directions:

1. Add in the bouillon cubes to the water on medium heat. Add in the parsley, sweet basil, and poultry seasoning. Throw in the frozen chicken tenderloins to thaw.
2. For all ingredients except the Ramen Noodles, precut them into small portions.
3. Fish out the now cooked chicken tenderloins and dice into small pieces.
4. Add all cut ingredients except the ramen in to simmer for 30 minutes.
5. Add the Ramen noodles 4 minutes before serving

Enjoy!!
