Car Goes Beep Beep

[ad#txt-ad]

This will likely not come as much of a surprise but I like to read the Fortune magazine. In one of the latest magazines, an article caught my eye regarding a car. Yes, an article about a company that makes cars is in the Fortune magazine.

The title of the article is “Tesla’s Wild Ride”. In the article, they detail the issues the company is having on the managerial level. The vehicle is what really got my attention and especially the motor.

When you look at this luxury car, you can fully appreciate why it is $109,000. There is no doubt about it this is one jaw dropping car based on looks and appearance. However, I am not one who gets all happy about what a car looks like but what a car does.

The most interesting thing about the Tesla Motors company is their vehicle is the 100% electric motor. The motor is the size of a watermelon that weighs 115 pounds. The engine of the car weighs about as much as I do and can pack a lot of power.

With a range of 220 before needing a recharge, it obviously isn’t the long distance travel car but it will easily tend to the around the city and shorter trips driving.

As amazing as this car is, I have one primary question that will need to be answered. How well can an electric car handle the Wisconsin (Mid-West) winter? If they have fixed the standard problems of the normal car batteries, then I look forward for these getting ramped up into full production and drop the cost down to the range of us mere mortals.

Cool noh? Kaya lang ang mahal hehe!

Thank you,

Anah
