We may have finally found that perfect place to permanently hang our hats or to settle down. Some believe the best choice in a home is the ready-made or the completely finished house with little to do to it. Others look for ones where you can tweak it to meet your personality.
My hubby and I are in the second group. We like to find a place that has potential both inside and especially outside. On the inside, it needs to be kind to my husband’s ankles with its layout and no steps or slopes. The décor is all mine to deal with.
The outside is where we really want the flexibility. We desire to have a solid area where we can grow our own food while remaining relatively private. I also desire to be able to beautify various parts with flowers and bushes. The best part is being able to do both and to have 2 trees close enough for the hammock or duyan for relaxing during the summer months.
However, the place that meets all of our wants requires a bit of work inside and outside so it can meet its full potential. On the outside, we will need some garden tools to get it into shape and keep it that way. An Alligator chainsaw will help us get rid of one tree that is in the way of the garden and tame down some runaway apple trees. Many of the other tools will be helpful with the apple trees, lawn, raspberry bushes, and the garden.
I’m looking forward to getting to work. The only thing missing will be the chicken coop which I doubt the city will permit.
